With a background as a novelist and over 20 years of teaching experience, I bring both my passion and my expertise to the classroom, helping you to achieve fluency in reading, speaking and writing Mandarin Chinese. I moved to Belgium in 2009. Before that I grew up in China in the south-west province of Guangxi. As a young girl, I lived my life during the cultural revolution, as a young womani I witnessed the incredible pace at which China became the world power that it is today. I have currently published four books in Chinese, the last one being a long novel called "Brigantine" that received overwhelmingly positive reactions in China. The fifth one is underway. My students prove that everyone can read and write smoothly after 3 years courses (about 200 hours per year). My teaching method:The first two years, students will mainly focus on the alphabet ,vocabulary,grammar, basic reading and writing skills, Later,they will focus on advanced reading and writing skills, for children and young people,we will pay particular attention to listening and speaking,literary reading and writing.
